  Attempted to use a 5 day trial and was turned down since i am not a Winnipeg resident. Was told i could buy a membership or pay a 10$ drop in. Walked down the street to goodlife and was offered a 7 day free trial. Avoid shapes.

  I love their Hot Yoga studio, it is spacious and really hot. They have great variety of classes. Parking is not as crowded than at some other locations.

  I don't think this location received new machines, ever. I do t care too much for shower or change room renovations,as I shower at home. I understand at mcphilips especially some local members LIVE for their 1 hour shower sessions. ..there were some issues in pembina location in winter loosing heating and now mcphylips we haven't had AC in most heated days in summer. Instructors keep saying how studio it's always too warm during classes but at least it's somewhat cooler in there than the smelly humid hot steamy womens fitness section. Not sure what's up, but get it under control you get enough money from some people's memberships. Some ppl cannot tolerate working out in Un circulated hot smelly stale air..most ppl just come for class and leave the rest have actually felt really sick and unable to use the facility. I feel like I'm in a 3rd world country pedalling a bike and even slightest movement is excruciating in that heat, maybe some can handle it but alot of ppl can't znd why should they have to we pay enough money crank that AC all the way in summer or get partial blinds for the Windows to cover the sun comming in and making it even more excruciating to exercise with sun in your face. I have 4 months left I have no more reason to renew membership at shakes moving on to greener pastures this feels like a he'll hole. Any way they can to try save money in our expense.

  Tried to email them about it with proof of my payment but I haven't gotten anything back after a day.

  Got an email yesterday saying I owed them $100 still, even though I have the receipt showing I've paid everything back.

  When I went in to pay it I made sure to tell the lady (who was extremely rude might I add) that I wanted to pay everything off, even the next 3 payments I was supposed to just so I wouldn't have to come back.

  It also showed on my payment reciept that they tried to charge me 3 more bi weekly payments of $15 and I have an NSF fee of $25 on top of that because I didn't pay those 3 payments that I wasn't supposed to pay in the first place.

  So I finished paying my memebership in September (which was $330) and apparently they've still been charging me.

  I emailed them two days ago asking for my payment recipts for the year which they sent me and it didn't have anything down about me paying the $330 at all.
