  Attended a Christmas party in Ambassador A. While the food was good, service was sure. They were understaffed and seemed unprepared. The bar tender ran out of change within 45 minutes if the event starting. For more than 100 people, they only had one bartender serving all night. It was a buffet, but there was only one server clearing plates, so the tables got over crowded and many people cleared their own tables. Water wasn't available on the tables or at the bar, so you had to track down someone to bring you out a glass. Overall, it was a fun night, but until they change how they manage their events, I would not consider hosting an event there. Canad Inns Polo Park is 100 times better.

  If you’re are looking for a place to go out with friends this is a place. They have a pay per game pool table too.

  King rooms are excellent great beds awesome bathrooms however water pressure could be better. Downgrading to the second floor (double queen) there is a major drop in quality, found the heaters didn't work well. Pillows were hard and beds not as comfortable. The shower heads were cheap. All the rooms lack convenient places to plug a phone however you can move furniture to do so. The towels are close to sand paper. The restraunt is nice and the pool area as well. Workers are all pleasant. Tavern attached is very nice, great food great service. Great place to stay for work especially if you need to get to the perimeter quickly in the morning. I will come back to this place again however if I am in a queen room I will absolutely have to do something about the pillows but I will be more then comfortable in a king room they're great.

  First time here, what a great experience. Customer service was amazing. The waiter was knowledgeable with great smile too.

  Pretty small selection of deserts compared to transcona or club regent,but its still.pretty good all you can eat supper for $20
